Founded in 2017 by Mabel Talabi, Between The Lines Traveler’s City was created to redefine how travelers experience the open road.
What began as an idea to improve highway safety has evolved into a movement, a commitment to comfort, care, and connection for every traveler.
Our flagship location, planned for Chicago, Illinois, will feature a large-scale plaza with fueling and EV charging stations, dining, retail, and recreation, all designed with eco-friendly materials and modern hospitality in mind. Within five years, we plan to expand across ten states, building a network of destinations that make travel safer, greener, and more enjoyable.

With over three decades in ministry and organizational leadership, Mabel combines compassion and strategy to bring impactful ideas to life.
